Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners to gradually move teeth, making it a discreet alternative to traditional metal braces. Braces, on the other hand, use brackets and wires to correct teeth and bite alignment. We can help determine which treatment is best.
Invisalign is suitable for many mild to moderate orthodontic concerns. We will assess your smile using digital 3D scans and X-rays to determine if Invisalign is a viable option and design a customized treatment plan for optimal results.
Treatment length varies depending on the complexity of your case, age, and type of appliance used. Most patients see results within months to a few years, and regular check-ins with your orthodontist help make sure that progress stays on track.
Yes, adults can benefit from braces or Invisalign. Modern orthodontics provides treatment options for adult patients who want to improve alignment, bite function, and overall oral health. Age is rarely a barrier to achieving a straighter, healthier smile.
During your initial consultation, your orthodontist will review your dental history, take photos, X-rays, and sometimes a 3D scan of your teeth. This evaluation helps create a personalized treatment plan and gives you a clear understanding of your options, timeline, and expected outcomes.
Appointments are typically scheduled every 4–8 weeks, depending on the treatment type. Regular visits allow your orthodontist to monitor progress, make adjustments, and address any concerns.
Good oral hygiene is essential during orthodontic treatment. Brush and floss regularly, remove aligners before eating, and clean your aligners as recommended. Proper care prevents cavities, staining, and gum irritation while keeping your teeth healthy.
Retainers are custom devices worn after braces or Invisalign treatment to maintain the new position of your teeth. Without retainers, teeth can gradually shift back to their original positions, so consistent wear is key to preserving your smile long-term.
With Invisalign, you can remove your aligners for meals, allowing you to eat normally while avoiding stains and damage. Braces require some dietary adjustments to prevent damage to wires or brackets, but most foods can still be enjoyed with proper care.
Yes, clear aligners such as Invisalign are a discreet option for both teens and adults. They are virtually invisible, removable, and designed to gradually shift teeth into alignment without the appearance of metal braces.
Consistent retainer use and maintaining good oral hygiene are essential. Regular follow-ups with your orthodontist help monitor your teeth and catch any minor shifts early, making sure your smile stays aligned for years to come.
