CARE FOR INVISALIGN ALIGNERS

You need to remove the aligners each time you eat. An advantage of the Invisalign Aligners is that the aligners can be removed for easy cleaning of the teeth. Prevent food or plaque from getting trapped in the aligners by brushing your teeth after every meal.

Your aligners too will have to be cleaned regularly and you can do this by brushing them and then rinsing them with lukewarm water.

For those who are active in contact sports, you can play with aligners in place and they may work to shield your teeth from contact injury. They are however not a replacement to your protective mouthguard.
