At Grand Oaks Orthodontics, we believe that your first orthodontic visit is your most important one.
This is a 45 minutes complimentary appointment and the goal is to learn about your orthodontic needs, educate you about available orthodontic options, showcase our office and our team, and to determine if it is the right time to initiate your orthodontic treatment.
During this appointment photos of your teeth and smile will be taken that will help Dr. Sood to understand your orthodontic needs. If more information is required a panoramic x-ray will be requested.
If it is the right time to initiate your treatment Dr. Sood will present different treatment options and then with your input elect the option best suited to you. However, if your child’s teeth are not ready for orthodontics, we will monitor the teeth on a yearly basis as a complementary service until the time when treatment is indicated.
We advise that all responsible parties be present. Also, please bring any X-rays taken within the past year and the names of your family dentist and specialists.
