We value your time and understand the importance of minimizing time missed at school or work. Patients are seen by appointment only, but you are always welcome to walk in and say hello! We make every effort to keep on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
Please allow the following time for each appointment type:
We know that getting to the Orthodontist while juggling school and work is not always easy. Since 90% of your appointments during treatment are routine adjustment visits, we try our best to offer early-morning and afternoon appointments to work around your schedule for the majority of your appointments. We are able to do this because we reserve our longer appointment slots for the middle hours of the day. The longer appointments are usually more technique-sensitive and we want to make sure you have Dr. Sood’s undivided attention during these appointments, or if something is broken or loose.
Visiting our office approximately every six to ten weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. To work with your schedule, we can offer before and after school appointment times in addition to regular work hours.
If you notice that part of your braces feels broken or loose, please call to notify us before your appointment, at least 24 hours before, but the sooner the better. We’ll help determine whether or not it’s something that requires an earlier visit to address. Unfortunately if you are scheduled for a routine adjustment appointment and you do not notify us of something broken or loose, we may not have time to repair the issue at that same appointment. Please keep us informed.
We respect your valuable time and do our best to run on schedule. To serve each patient in a prompt and efficient manner, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late for an appointment, we ask that you see one of our front office staff members to determine if you can be rescheduled the same day or if you will need to be rescheduled to another day.
Successful orthodontic treatment requires a series of scheduled appointments throughout treatment. It is in the patient’s best interest to reschedule a missed appointment as soon as possible. Please contact our office immediately and we will work with you to reschedule missed appointments at our earliest convenience. After a 3rd consecutive missed appointment, we will require a refundable deposit to hold an appointment slot.
We understand that schedules change and we will do our best to accommodate our patients’ busy schedules. Please call our office as soon as you know that you are going to have to reschedule your appointment. If we are not notified of a reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, we consider that a missed appointment.
